Fourth Quarter: Developing People for Individual and Organizational Success
Ahmad Bradshaw
Most people want to grow and develop, and our organization needs people to develop as the nature of our business changes. Talent Development is about creating pools of people ready and willing to take on new challenges and step up when needed. It’s a continuous process of building skill and capabilities at an individual and organizational level. As a manager you can’t do it alone. Connections need to be made with support staff, idea generators, resource managers and decision makers. You’ll need to know who people are, what they do, and how to collaborate and build and maintain productive networks.
During the fourth and final quarter of the Emerging Leaders program, you’ll bring together the skills learned, and knowledge gained in previous quarters and apply them by conducting a talent and business review to the larger group.
